Something a little more comfy for this trip.
450hp auto daf from Melbourne to Coffs Harbour…

May not be as “tuff” as the bonneted yank iron but she’s smooth as silk on the road and my kids don’t seem to mind it lol

European trucks are leaps and bounds ahead of yanky trucks in the comfort department, sorry Swishman

And I feel they are just as tough or maybe even tougher now, even the V bus I feel is a pretty tough bit of gear these days

Dont forget to beep the horn as you pass Coopernook. Look out for Officer Dribble sitting at the Lansdowne River bridge.

Sorry Cobba, But there's only 2 engine choices in a Kenworth... Cummins or Paccar(DAF)

They stopped Offering Detroits back in the late 90's when Freightliner Bought Detroit Diesel &CAT pulled out on the on highway Market in (I think) 2010..

CAT didnt pull out of the on highway market in 2010 thats when they stopped selling engines to other manufacturers and started selling their own CAT branded trucks, not an entirely great time to be working for CAT, ask me how I know.
