I remember Merko's, Stuart, in Moorabal St I think? And I'm pretty sure Greg Mitchell Toyota had the Merc dealership, they had one there that sat there for ages, pretty sure a bloke called Kevin Bartlett (not the footy player) bought it, used it on a tipper in Geelong for years- and it may have even ended up here about forty years later.Of course being a stupid kid that was mad on trucks I took notice of who had what, when and so on..anyhoo..Here's a couple I dragged up from the 'pooter, some we owned, some not!

cant get the photos to load- the must be a 1418 conspiracy going on! For some reason when I try to "attach" or drag a file in, it says 'failed to load" or "failed to write to disc" . I've tried logging out then back in again- anyone got any ideas?
Cheers
Rich

Well Frauline Friday is upon us again everyone How lucky are we all to get a Frauline Friday every week that I remember ?
Even when I do remember the forum wobt play nice and allow me to add photos
All I get is this
"Failed to write file to disk"
So just close your eyes and squeeze real tight and imagine those fabulous Fraulines

Thanks guys for mentioning that you both are having troubles posting images, now I feel better. Could not post the image of my new toy in the Triang Train post. Left a message for Terry so he will come to the rescue again soon.

Yes, it was opposite the footy ground. I think it was the Nissan (perhaps Datsun) agency at that time. Perhaps also did Mercedes trucks?I remember Merko's, Stuart, in Moorabal St I think? !

I think so??
Daimler AG acquired a 43 percent shareholding in Mitsubishi Fuso in 2003, as a spin-off of Mitsubishi Motor Corporation’s Truck & Bus Division. Since 2011, Daimler has held a stake of just under 90 percent. FUSO trucks are produced in Kawasaki, Japan, Oragadam near Chennai, India, and Tramagal, Portugal. FUSO buses are produced in Toyama, Japan. FUSO vehicles are also locally assembled at 16 knock-down plants around the world.

I still think it is a bit of an insult to the Mercedes brand. Wait until Paul sees it!
