Photos from Dean Portenor whose grandfather took these photos. He owned ACE Motors from Nowra NSW. Ken Harris and his father in law Sid Myers
(Figtree Freighters) owned this 1418. It looks like one of the owners Ken Harris in the photo. My brother John drove this truck from new and I spent many hours in the passenger seat on school holidays.

That yellow jigger is a Buckeye Rotary Digger has a very short conveyer worked OK if you were digging shallow trenches but at full depth the conveyer spat the spoil back into the trench.
