Lang, all too often things do look good from a distance. I'm living proof.

Very flash jiggers there Pauly, the fridgy's Benz would have been king of the road back in the day.. How hard must have some of these old jiggers worked, loaded up like they were.
Heavy and damn slow, I guess.
Thats just the way things were I suppose!
Sold this one a while ago, it was ex Jolly's at Anakie, I used to see it getting around when I was a young fella.
And the ex Kraft Benz, it's over in Gippsland now being loved I believe.
And this Macksedes Benz, had a 237 Mack engine in it, gee it went well. Probably should have kept it, but it just didn't sound "right" like a 1418 does! That funny rolling sound the Mercedes engine has, music to the ears..
Have a good day you blokes
Cheers
Rich

Seed,
Yes, I believe so- old mate who did the conversion had a rusty R 600, he said it actually all fitted together quite easily. Mack front axle and diff just bolted to the Benz springs I think, and it had a 10 sp Roadranger in it too- so in reality it was more Mack than Benz!
When someone starts the topic of Mack Monday I'll shover her in there as well...
Cheers
Rich
