Frauline Friday

 
It's the German ladies day!   
The old banger left yesterday... A bit sad, did so many miles in the 1418 with Dad as a young fella.., it feels like an end of an era.  But I guess nothing stays the same forever does it? 

 

 

Here's how it was found on the farm, many years (about 20?) ago..

 

 

 

It had been attacked by rats- stripped the cab completely,  pressure washed the inside to buggery, re wired it, put new seats, mates, hood lining, you name it. But we only finally got the rat smell out of it a year or so ago!
Anyway the fella who bought it was a lovely chap, his dad had one (didn't everyone's dad have one?) so it's going back to Boral colours, with a single axle semi tipper. Hopefully we will see the old girl around in her new clothes.
