prime movers, coupled to the latest in steerable, quad axle fridge pans, carrying up to 56 pallet spaces and the versatility to carry ambient, chiller or frozen goods. These configurations have been specifically designed for ERH, as a more efficient alternative to a B-double model, removing the need to split trailers and still deliver higher volumes for our customers.

Photo from Colin Hitchcock. Note the unequal axle spacings on the trailer. Probably able to get a little more payload with this axle spacing. From Colin Hitchcock, Rear steer, PBS, specific route, designed to gross 49Ton.

Last week ,I saw a terminal tractor with a weird trailer, maybe in the Euro setup, being followed by Transport and cop cars ,at Rocklea.............I assume an application to use the terminal stuff with containers on the roads.

They are up and down the Hume, all four axles down north and foward axle up south.

Interesting set up I've been trying to take a snap of lately is a quad axle B double on both trailers.

Not if you are a railway man who use it in the sense of out and back.
