The 2 stroke GM was in everything and anything in its day, they were a very design but I could never quite take the 53 series, yeah I know, what a weird bugger am I

Yeah, same here re 53 series.
71's & 92's seemed to be the pick of them for road transport.
Personally I always had a soft spot for the 110 series, used more in industrial probably, although the odd one made it into a truck.
Got a great run out of them in railcar use.
