I picked up my future project today. Based on the engine number I believe it to be about a 1963 model T946XA. It has a 6LX Gardner with a RTO915 box. Maybe a couple of years before I make a start.

It has found a good home.

Looks like a good base to start from. Love the sun visor, can’t recall seeing one like that before.

Oilman, a great find. The twin headlights also date it as a later modle I believe. Lucky to find one that does not need to extra trims to hold the windscreen in.
We know you will get the resto right but what about the young fella holding the door, full rebuild for him too?

Sarge, I also thought that was the case, but I discovered that the twin headlights was an option. Interesting that they optioned twin headlights, but only went with the one wiper (no evidence of a 2nd one fitted). The 'young fellow' was the son of the farmer where the photo was taken. He still lives next door to that farm and at a guess would be close to 70 now.
