The spec sheet brochure lists the rear axles for 1981 AccoT 1910 C as Tandem RA- 328 with W/RA- 427 trailing axle (lazy).
Just wondering if these axles are Rockwell or Eaton ?
Any help much appreciated.
Thank you,
Maurice.

Gday Maurice,
There are a lot smarter blokes than me on here! But from memory, the RA bit means it's a Rockwell.
IDSTBC tho!
Cheers
Rich

All rear axles on Inters are prefixed "RA".
The ASW has an RA10 under it.

As Jarrod says, RA means rear axle in Inter speak. Just as the front axles are prefixed by FA.

The diff would be a Rockwell. I think it should have an ID plate riveted to the axle housing, about maybe a 3"x1" plate with a Rockwell logo on it, likely an Inter part number as well, and the ratio.

Don't always believe the ratio on the ID plate though, always best to read that off the end of the pinion in case it has been changed at some stage.
