Dad bought this cut down ute for farm use for a few years before getting a tractor.
Had been set up for power kero, so 2 vacuum tanks on the firewall.
Just used to ferry the milk cans out to the stand, and feed out baled hay.
Another family visited over the school holidays, enjoying rides and painting it.

That looks like it was a very nice mid 1920's Buick. I would like it in this condition now.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Morris, she was well worn through use as a truck, especially running on kero. Low compression,
took a good slurp of petrol to start. From memory, dad said it was 1926. Fast car in their day.
Have seen a few sedans restored and they look great. Part restored one on FB for 12K.
Massive 6 cylinder motor, cylinder casting separate from the crankcase. Twin plate clutch on a
large flywheel. Three on the floor. Updraught carby, had electric start but we crank started her.
Used until about 1960. Must visit the old farm to see if it's still there! Boxes of engine spares.
