Soooo, don't suppose you blokes let Western Australians join up?

Hi, my name's Andy and I'm a vintage truckaholic. It's been seven months since my last truck purchase...

My transfer with my company has been given the go ahead so we should be over soonish (flying visit to Melbourne yesterday to check out the office and future colleagues). Hope to put some faces to names in the near future.

Do you want a membership form now or when you reach Melbourne? We already have members in every state in Australia and some in New Zealand.

We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month (except december when it is the 3rd Thursday) at Black Flats community hall on the corner of Waverley and Springvale Rds Glen Waverley at 8pm.

Visitors are always welcomed with open arms (we even let them win the raffle occassionally )

Still thinking about my username. It's consuming as much time in my head as wondering where my March issue of Classic and Vintage Commercials has disappeared to and trying to find the time to finish the, ahem, March issue of ACC! . Hope the house sells very soon so I can make a mess again!

As Bparo mentions we have members even over in the West. We allow any and all truck aholic's to join us.

Any ideas when Andy from West Oz is going to become Andy from East Oz? Hope to see you soon at one of our meetings. Can't promise that you will win the raffle however!

Another Bedford you say? Well, yes, but once we settle and find some land...there will be variety! Good thing I don't have another International...

I'll leave the actual joining up till we get over there so it's one less address to change.

We'll be living in Pakenham for about the first year or so. Hoping to be over by the end of May.

Look forward to you coming over! Why not an Inter! I might convert you when you see my truck in action! Then again you might try to convert me to bedfords! Good luck with that!

By the way Pakenham is less than 10-20 Min's from my place in Narre Warren. So sure we can catch up in May!

Narre Warren sounds like a good place to park the Beddy. LOL. Nah, only kidding, she's coming over with Barry in November when he drives over for Sandown.

One of my wife's sisters lives in Narre Warren and her parents (formerly of Safety Beach) and another sister live in Berwick.

Don't need to convert me to IHs. I may have to acquire a KB6 or thereabouts one of these days.

One thing I've noticed is that Victorians are rather keen to claim being the capital of anything and everything.

Guess they might have a point... ...but, Foggy, I think the title of Bedford capital of the world would have to go to the Kiwis...sorry.
