G'Day All,
Newby question on a 903 Cummins in a K125 I've just purchased. There is an oil line from the bottom of the sump to a round canister underneath the battery box, and a similar line from the canister back up to the engine next to the oil filter. Can anyone tell me what this is ? Part of the oil filter system ?
Any help much appreciated
Cheers

It's most likely a bypass filter, you could get a element for them but a lot of blokes just put toilet rolls in them. oil is a big thing with 903's they did not have enough in them change the oil often or build a bigger sump although if it's non Turbo it' will be all right, beautiful motor the sweetest things to drive with a 15 speed.
