Way back when the yanks never liked front brakes as they would lose the steering on ice & sno etc
If U get my drift ...... they even went to tall rubber to increase the footprint
front brakes on a KW were like bicycle brakes with only a 4 inch wide brake drum

a Kw set up as a ridgid spose U need all the brakes can get

77Louie
we could all leap into cabovers way back when .. just a little slower nowa days
LOL

I adopted this C500 (3406B 15RR) for four years, it was rated at 135 tons and rode quite rough with light loads but at least it always got you home. I don’t know if it’s just me but I occasionally hit my head climbing into cab over Kenworths so not a fan, but you have to drive the truck that the boss buys.

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.
