I reckon we are seeing the very first idea or conceptual sketchs of the Australian ACCO A series 

Certianly the grill in this one 

 

And the cab in this one



I guess I'm drawing a long bow here, but I  reckon we can see at the very least were IH Australia drew their inspiration for the worlds longest running model truck

Yes, i agree with Mrsmackpaul.  I was very surprised to see those last couple "Acco style" pictures.  Obviously IHA truck department at that time was heavily influenced from IH USA, much much more than i ever thought/realised.  Even AtkiPete's Acco book doesn't mention IH USA, just that "over two years work (and much money and plant improvements) had been spent on the new cab, before its release at Broadbeach, Queensland, in 1972"

I found these documents in the naa.

In 1941, The Govt. were looking for tactical 4x4 trucks for the army. I-H USA ( through I-H Australia) came forward with a sales pitch. The brochure shows the trucks.
