RFW Bob Whitehead Hall of Fame

Hi all

Robert Frederick ( Bob) Whitehead RFW trucks & Buses / Permatrak Suspension of Chester Hill Sydney
has been awarded
a National Transport Museum , Alice Springs NT 
Hall of Fame award 

it’s been 55 years since the First RFW custom hand built truck was constructed (8x4 using a KM Bedford cab) April 1969 
Bob & the team including Bill Ballie ( Machine shop) & Ray Rodman ( Workshop) who was there all the time of production till 1995 with 380 built

the most notable truck was built for Brisbane City Council QLD, a  road legal 14 x 14 wheel drive 
also the Chester Coaches Sydney, Australian Explorer 4 x 4 tour coach 

all vehicles were custom hand built to the customer special specifications
