TOMM Magazine

Still not getting any response from Jarrah Publishing.....been trying over the last 2 months or so by email and phone calls but no response. When they do answer you have to leave a message but they do not get back to you. I have paid subscription but not getting magazine. Very shonky uncontactable company so I guess consumer affairs is my next stop or can anyone suggest any thing I can do. I am in Adelaide so too far away to visit personally

It's a pity that a well regarded magazine has gone this way. The same company also do "Vintage Trucks and Commercials Magazine"

I feel your pain regarding subscriptions. I used to subscribe to Australian Classic Car, my subscription fell due, was paid but I never received another magazine nor my money back. This magazine always claimed to be owned by the NRMA but when I asked them in writing for the refund I got a nasty letter back

Contact ACCC for advise or lodge a complaint

Have handed my complaint to Consumer Affairs to handle

While there is clearly some issues going it doesn't take a lot to send a blanket email to everyone and put people's mind at rest

Anyway, that's my thoughts

It is almost three months since the last post re TOMM problems and in that same period I have tried many times to get a response from the publishers, JARRAH PUBLISHING by phone and emails with no success. I can't even log onto the Tomm site or receive the digital magazine. Yesterday phoned again to get a recorded message which as previously told me to send an email to Jarrah Publishing which I have done, so will I get a reply this time? As a long time subscriber I would not like it to shut down but a definite decision would be preferable to the present ongoing uncertainity. Have any previous subscribers to or readers of TOMM received any creditable information?

I used to subscribe to TOMM once but now just the VTCM but I dunno how long now since I have recieved a magazine

A little communication goes a long way
Communication might not make anyone happier, but at least there is something other than deafening silence

Might be a bit overboard but what about making a complaint to the ACCC? 
After all you have paid for a service not being provided. Have taken all steps to enquire why your not receiving what you paid for n all enquiries are not being responded to.

Cobba, I dunno if the ACCC are the right people or not but certainly something along those lines

I'm thnking it needs to be a Federal government body as the magazine's are sold in every state

After all a quick email to all subscribers that have a email address probably isn't to big a deal and would probably cover well over 90% of subscribers

A few words explaining what is going on isn't a big ask
