I want to know where the hay bales came from.

I've heard that the front diff has to be removed, to rego them in civvy street as even unloaded the front axle is overweight.

Not in NSW. There are a couple of them running around here on full rego.I've heard that the front diff has to be removed, to rego them in civvy street as even unloaded the front axle is overweight.

Being a bit of a farmer, my guess is that he is trying to encourage a few cows to come out of the bush, probably the only option as it doesn't look like motor bike country to me.

Dint say airbags were uselss offroad ...just the Neway ones ..........the Hendrickson airbags fit over the tops of the axles ,and have no bars across to drag when you get bogged .

I never had to get axle weights to rego a truck,just net ........i bought a ACCO 1950 for the sandblasters ,and someone had written the tare on the cab before it had the crane fitted ,so it was a bit over with 12 ton ....why 12 ton...thats 6 bulker bags of garnet..........anyhoo,when the business was split the golden ones got the truck ,even though they couldnt drive it ......the boss's brainiac son decided to take the truck up the north coast for a shutdown job ..... ,and got weighed .....Uh Oh ..its well over on the steer , big fines for Christmas .....Did I know about it ?....maybe I did ,maybe I didnt.
