Truck bellcrank rear suspensions

Looking at LN700’s Ford Cargo diagram, the Benz setup was drive axle leading, with a beam  bushed to the rear of that spring, rocker pivot on the chassis 40% towards a bush to the trailing end of the lazy axle spring. Looked awkward.
Might have been one of Pages conversions?

i think the TandemTrac suspension fitted to the ACCOT was 60/40 .......I know you could get a Ford D series with a 60 /40 Hendrickson lazy ............The Leyland suspension was more complicated ,as the front ends of the springs rose and fell too . Albions with the four spring were very common once ,most here know the RE29 Reiver .

I always liked the Leyland non reactive suspension.
Its only drawback was one end of the cranks and rods was above the chassis.  Not a problem for a tray or tipper but no good for a turntable.
But some ingenious reversal of the cranks had them below top of chassis. 
Lots of grease nipples compared to the single point 6-rod setup.

Was Goth suspension like this, had rods and doohickies here and there

Airbags were the finish for all this type of suspension.
I remember my first Freighter trailer had a crazy equalising beam arrangement that went from rear to rear of each spring set.  Of course this meant the equaliser beam had to be mounted inboard of the springs inducing an eccentric load in its centre pivot bush. Special grease didn’t help much.
Then my Haulmarks had the “normal” equalising beam running from rear of front springs to front of rear springs.  Dead simple.
My next Haulmark had a bell crank system, still running rear of front spring to front of rear springs. Gave no trouble, but to me that trailer didn’t corner as well as the older system. 
Rare to see a trailer on springs these days unless it’s carting cattle. Those blokes like it simple.

Yes Goth was another version of this type
