Sometimes you look at the boat and what it's worth and the cost of transport and wonder why it's being moved.
We moved one boat from Lake Macquarie that was so rusty it was a challenge to get it on the trailer in one piece.
That was 7 years ago. It still sits in the same front yard and hasn't changed a bit.
It will cost a few grand to take it to the metal recyclers.
That was suggested when it was loaded on the trailer.

I am no expert on these matters Swishy, but I think you are doing it all wrong, too much effort making special jigs etc. I watch Aussie Salvage Squad and they just tear the boat to pieces and then tie the pieces onto the truck with a few ratchet straps. They are on TV so they must be experts.
