If I bought that cream Benz the 1st thing I'd do would be rub that name off the front.

Hi All,

Been off the air for a while, sorry. In that time I bought the DVD of "Roadgames" featuring a Benz 2224 driven by Stacy Keach. Does anyone know what came of it?

To stay on thread here, any pics of it???

The cream Benz mentioned earlier has been advertised for sale at (I think) $35,000?

Always had a soft spot for Benz(es), especially 1418's.

Cheers

Rob

Jeez, Humehwy, that one brought back memories! ::) My dad used to drive one of these from new as a rigid flat deck with trailer in NZ, hauling timber from the sawmills at Rotorua to the export port at Mount Maunganui in the late 1950s!

It was a Mercedes "Cargo King" and when new, was a local eye-opener due to the size of the rig! He drove for the New Zealand Lumber Company ... don't know if the company still exists.
