I was informed by an retired industry man that "GMs turn diesel into noise and oil into leaks!"
Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

Any bets on how many members will be booked for 'hooning' on eastlink next Sunday?
Only the GM-powered ones.

Sorry but I won't be able to make it to Dubbo, Yes Dave , it is a 30cwt model, started restoring about 4 years ago and finished in time to drive to Alice Springs in 2005, to the Transport Hall of Fame party. Did it in a fortnight, out and back, traveled with a friend and his AA160 fire truck.Would like to do it in 2010 but take a bit longer. Any way will see what happens.

HCVC hoon truck was a AR 162 heading home up Eastlink . He was going so fast that he missed the turn off to go home and turn off 3 off ramps later. We got plenty of lookers and toots from the big boys. Podge

It was a deliberate miss of the turn off. I had got onto Eastlink at Burwood Highway to go up to Ringwood so we decided not to take the Monash Parkway (sorry freeway) turn off and continued up to Burwood Highway to complete the lap. It doesn't hurt to have a bit of fun now and then, particularly when everything is running sweetly, and I was enjoying the chance to let her sit on her 90 km/h!
