Its a new one on me Andy, The dual cab prime mover suggests it might not have been a normal fridge truck, ie maybe a promotional vehicle of sorts. You are on the right side of the paddock now to do bus stories, there were lots of manufacturers in Melbourne, including CAC / Bedford down there under the Westgate Bridge.

I've stumped the guru. Oh dear, no chance now!

I dont know much about buses. The Commonnwealth Aircraft Corporation got into the production of buses there at Fishermans bend after the war (The SB Bedfords ) There is a book out about bus operators and body builders in Victoria. Cant think of the name at the moment but it has a green cover.
