Stupid question from the west. What is the max height restriction in VIC ?...Ive seen discussion about the tunnel height allowed. Is it different from rural height.
Im trying to work out how much I need to cut off Andy's Bedfords with the oxy so mr plod doesnt get me.

if you are going through the citylink tunnels, look at www.citylink.com.au/293.jsp#About_the_CityLink_tunnels

They clame "What's the clearance in the tunnels? The clearance is 4.6 metres."
But I think they want max truck hight of 4.3m

But I would get the oxy out anyway and cut 2 foot of the top of Andy's bedford ;D ;D :P

The more older trucks on the road&&The more memorizes of how things use to be.&&[url

The hardest thing with cutting a bedford with an oxy is your not supposed to cut wrought iron with an oxy so it wont be a neat cut.

That's okay, Baz, I've seen your welding and fabricating on the 90 so know the assembly process will go well... :P

Vic guys (hey, that's me too!), be prepared to be blown away when you see Barry's 90. :o

Thankyou guys for the info and links. I will work with 4.3 and I should be fine. Andy, dont get to exited about the 90 just yet. I have to get it finshed and then get across the paddock yet.
Was thinking I might bring a rock body trailer...atleast it will be easy to load and unload ya Bedford's. The old hough should lift high enough.

Would look good behind the 90 too. Not sure if Burkey would be too keen with a pile of Beddies sitting on his Ford though...

Shudder, just had thoughts of the scrapman...grrr.
