Working around Oz was created by Kingy
Thought i'd show ya's some of what i've been doing since we left home (Moruya NSW) in April 09'
Tamworth was our first long stopover, where the wife's cuz has a farm and runs a couple of trucks also, one on the shire, the other carting grain at Werris Creek

Quirindi swap meet/truck show last year

Did'nt work again till we hit Ayr (Qld) some months later where i tackled the cane harvest :P.....not too bad a job, but probably won't be back

A cane burn

We had this setup stay at our van park

A visitor from Townsville

After we left Ayr, it was Dalbly where i picked a job carting water out to the gas fields .......great easy job, but the work come to an end :(

More to come soon

Back again with somemore pics of our trip, had a bit of a break from work for a while (too much work and no play....no good) ;) did'nt fire up again till we hit Pt. Hedland WA, stayed there for nearly 5 mths and left just recently. Anyone thats been there knows how much work is about, quite an interesting place.......and bloody HOT
Mainly carted from Hedland to Cape Preston......one trip/day, and also worked for another mob doing various work. The LTS for the cape work, the macks on the other

Concrete sleepers went inland, just short of auski roadhouse

Check out the lovely green backgroud :-/

Our camp at Hedland........no mowing needed here :)

Sorta cheated when we left Hedland.........we hitched a ride to Perth with a guy i was working with on the Cape Preston job

Will be Perth for another week, then heading south towards Bridgetown where we'll be staying for a while
It's all good ;)
Cheers Kingy

The amazing thing is that the structual bits are made in China......shipped out here, then assembled ::) comment anyone :-?
Every day for nearly 2 years trucks have been bringing in the jigsaw.....and it's by no means near finished
Oh Yeah........forgot to say, it's owned and will be run by the Chinese, many a worker is Chinese

Long loads.....Wide loads......high loads, you name it , we took it
