THE BEER MUST GET THROUGH!!!

This photo shows up one of the most important transport jobs of the whole Snowy Scheme build, getting the beer through the snow to the workers. The series 1 Inter Acco is delivering the Beer to the Thiess Bros. township of Bella Vista, (highest town in the snowy mtns. during construction) The Acco driver is my brother-in-law Ron Daly, his passengers are my sister Val and their kids. Ron worked for Tumbarumba Transport and the photo was taken during winter of 1964.
