Eaton 2 speed diff ratios for ACCO 1850d was created by turbotrana
Does anyone have any idea of the ratios of the Eaton 2 speed diff in a acco 1850d.
If not are the ratios anywhere to be found stamped on the diff

Turbo, there were a lot of different ratios available. The ratio will be stamped on the end of the input shaft. ie you need to drop the tail shaft to see it.

Gidday turbotrana,
Scout man is bang on. Drop the tailshaft and have a look at the end of the pinion.
There will be number like 6-39 stamped. This the crownwheel and pinion tooth count. Divide big by small and thats your ratio. In the above example 39 / 6 = 6.5
If its an Eaton you can get faster ratios 4.88 is pretty easy to find.
Rockwells are harder to find faster gear sets. From memory 5.83 was the fastest.
