Just wondering if anyone has a container coming back to Aus from the states as i have found a radiator surround & Radiator and also a windscreen and frame that i need to get back.
Approx size/weight
Radiator & surround 31 kg, 30" X 24" X 10".
Window & frame 20kg, 50" X 14" X 5"
Costs from UPS are off this planet.

Trevor, you should be able to get it posted. I had a '31 Chev radiator and shell posted to me, it was about $265 from memory, and I think it was about 28kgs.
Cheers, Ron.

Make sure its paid door to door. Door to airport, while cheaper you will get stung a bunch more charges at this end. While door to door is all paid up front and works out much cheaper.

Congrats on the rad and shell, Trev.
I'll ask a mate who lives in Colorado if he can recommend anything/anyone.

My mate that is pulling the truck apart has just come back to me with a much better price.
Disassembled the windscreen and got the glass and old wood off. If I have it figured right, we can get the radiator and shell with the windscreen parts and a box of the other things into a crate with inside dimension of 30" by 24" by 10" and weight before the crate is at 95 lbs. If I check shipping to Long Beach Port in LA UPS ground figuring a couple inches added each way for crate, 105 lbs billable weight, I get $88.47. I also ran that figure through the International Parcel Express, and came up with $347.93. I sent a request into a local International shipper whose web site says they will package, and waiting for a reply.
So if its $348 door to door that might be the better way to go.
Otherwise $88 to get it to LA only leaves you with $259 to ship it, get it thru customs and pick it up.
Will explore all options and wait on some final pricing.
