Hi Eddy,
what a top idea of restoring your Terrier to a London to Sydney Marathon replica, I love it !

It's been in the back of my mind for some time that I'd like to do it.
I actually saw the rally go through Broken Hill (I think) Was Up there on a job.
Then I got some odd pamphlets, and mag reprints on evilbay, and the idea set a bit more.

I hope you're going to put a set of twin stacks on her so we can hear that great V8 exhaust note.

There is no V8 with a nicer note than that rover V8 IMHO. Of course I'll go twin stacks, the original did ... ;)

Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"

For some reason I just thought of twin stacks on a Moke... ;D

Eddy, Dave was trying to convince me to put a stack on the TK. Sure, it'll look cool but with "just" a 308 in her I reckon extractors, a sports muffler and a single pipe sticking out from under the chassis will do the job nicely. I reckon the only TKs that deserve stacks are the GM-powered ones!

::) Hmm, was a moke back in the ol'e hometown when I was a boy had a stack. From memory, I thought at the time it looked really cool. But then it also had the fibreglass ute cab thingy on it, and an ally tray, so it didn't look as out of place as it might have.

Not a big fan of stacks, but as the rally truck had'em, I'd sort of feel obliged ... ;)

Err, no. Would consider banning you if you did something like that! ;D :P

Still, good to see she can take it. Seems a good running truck though so a bit of a shame. I do like what's written on the bumper.

Don't worry Eddy I wouldn't ban you for that!

I think it would be fun to be able to do that at the lights. Also think of it this way would be an extremly easy truck to unload! Just accelerate out the front of the place for delivery and bingo it is all on the road! ;D

You never seen my Inter take off at the lights yet Andy! :D

Imagine what I would save not needing a winch or ramps! ;)

The Moke was Australian Built but I believe the Truck was from the UK end.

According to the mag article I have the truck was built here too.

I might just see what I can find out about the truck from my contact :)
