After waiting for the crash repair bloke to get me a windscreen, I finally gave up, and went to see another bloke. (Didn't go to him earlier because a] he annoys me and b]didn't do a very good job on a $5k repair on the missus' Navara .... )

So he looked in his book ... same book as the first bloke did ... "yeah it's available" he says.
3 days later he calls "ya windscreen's here ... "


... not quite the sort of thing we're prepared for around here ... good service!!!

used up a roll of masking tape to hold the glass in more or less one lump to pull it out.

I have an old moke in fairly ordinary shape if any one is interested. Was going to put a blow -up santa in it and park it at the mail box for a xmas decoration. It was running but was a tad unreliable, was made in to a shooting rig with rack etc.
