My little Terrier
Short for Petrol ... although not really that much shorter admitedly : ... don't forget, I've had mine fourteen years, and covered a few kms ... (about 17,000)(and I politely ignored the bit about the "petty" V8)

... airboats, hovercraft, VWs ... even range rovers!the P76-Terrier 4.4 V8 is about the only "truck" motor i know that has made its way into landloosers,holdens,fords boats,nissans, even motorbikes!(maybe even planes? )

As I have accumulated a bit of info on the Leyland Australia 1977 London to Sydney Rally truck ... I will create ANOTHER thread soon when I have the time - for the rally truck and put up all the articles and info I can find ..

That's what you'd find if you remove your dash also. Mine had the same plastic dash, but in more sections, as yours. My attempts at removal and taping together for use as a mold for a fiberglass replacement ended in tears.e
From the photo of your grandson in the Truck - the small amount of dash I can see - seems to be the "basic" or early version .. is the speedo in the middle ?.
I've actually had the speedo panel mounted in the centre, and it looks cool, real old school, but really annoying when driving and trying to check the speed etc ...
