Found a photo of this old Louie, taken back in the mid to late 70's at the old TNT Roadfast yard in Melbourne. QLD rego on the old girl, single drive with no bunk. Would have been a pretty ordinary down south in that one. :-/

This little Loui I have to get on to club plates, BL--DY RTA or what ever they call themselves now in NSW want around $3000 to register.Has a little CAT in it but diff is to slow ,90 KMS a hour ,100KMS is way to many revs for a CAT. ( nilly to many at 90):( :( :( :( Only use it to cart old tractors and hopefully a D model Inter when finished .Do you have to use a drivers diary when on club plates , :-? :-? :-? Colin

Time to get up andd get going.......todays bad decisions aren't going to make themselves!!!

ok,now here's the biggest ford of all.......started life as an LNT9000 short bonnet with a naturally aspirated V903 with 295HP......we turbo'd it and upped it to 400HP in the early eighties.....around 1986 I bought an LTL hood for it and all the jewellry brand new in the USA and found a used KTA-525 automotive spec in Canada.
The owner of this gadget,Ken Wright from Nyngan NSW,did all the engineering work and fitted the 19 litre KTA_600HP with jakes after we fully reconditioned it, coupled to a 20 speed spicer and eaton dual range rear end.
What a weapon!!!
its still around somewhere, not sure where tho......

only one of its kind, even down to the home made steel fuel tanks, bullbar and sleeper.

we built wrighty 2 x fuel pumps....1 @ 600HP + 10% fuel for when he drove it,
the other was a standard 525HP pump for when he sent a driver out in it!!!

enjoy,
