G'day Dave, that photo was taken at the 2007 display day. The owner took fibreglass moulds of a clipper and created his caravan.

I was sitting in a side street having a drink when two trams were following each other and now your saying whats strange about this.

The first tram was towing the second one and these were followed by a break down truck you just dont see that any more . :D

It's good see the tow hitch on the trams are used and are not there just for looks. Dave ;D

Dave you need to look around Pete's Black Smithery, Bendigo Trams having him making or repairing all sorts of stuff, Like putting tyres on thier wheels, but I do seem to recall that I devised a modification for their breakdown towing hitch after they gave it a serious unwanted bend.

he is away fishing so has no right of reply ;D ;D

Well as it happens im sitting here reading this
even though the snapper r biting once again work is cutting into my play time
and the V factor has taken its toll on my truck I took the old girl in and had the tyres looked at needs new king pins, epring bushes, bearings, shocks, front and rear end alingment this is going to HURT
anyways I do remember been asked to straighten some tram tow bars
UNTIL SARGE BUTTED IN and i didnt get the job
Guess I can slip that on the bill for rust repairs and seat brackets

V factor has taken its toll on my truck


Not being up with all the Victorian things but I had taken the V factor as being VicRoads but it just occurred to me it could be the Volvo factor... ;D
