Hope a West Aussie is welcome here! was created by Andy Wright
Hi guys
Andy Wright here over in Perth. I'm the recently resigned editor of HCVC News over here and am enjoying a bit of free time while making sure the new ed does his job properly! About two years ago we decided to crank out a top notch magazine (well, as much as possible) since we don't have any huge events like Sandown to draw attention to our club. Was a fun two years but that's another story.
I'm currently restoring a 1951 Bedford ML which is how I got to know Foggy after meeting him at the pre-Sandown BBQ at the McIntosh's last year. You guys sure know how to put on a good time! I came over with our club chief and he took away the raffle prize. That and the Sandown show were worth the effort! Would like to think I'm coming over this year as well, particularly to see Murray's new KW, but we'll see.
If you guys are interested, I'll post some WAA trucks on here from time to time.
Hope to meet you all sometime in the future.
Cheers
Andy

I have a problem though Foggy. I love British trucks but I also love European trucks and American stuff! As long as it's an old truck, I like it! Confusing though.
I'm trying to keep up with what's going on and keep my ear to the ground. As you know, the magazine idea was a non-starter due to time issues but I think this monthly pdf page idea of various stories and reports I gather and email around will work. It's free, won't cost me anything cos I'm writing for other sources as well and get to talk old trucks. Nothing better!
