ya know something knighty....to line, scroll and picture (cartoon) a truck like that now, would cost you near to 2000 dollars...all hand done .. and that work is exactly that
this was a standard procedure in the late eighties/early ninety's but i guess,...who realistically wants to afford that now ??

well tective, didnt think it would cost that much, wonder if chocs would do a discount rate on the next project. When i saw it i had to get a shot of the bulldog and the V8. Wish the mud flaps had (knights coonabarabran).

that ole liner was once a resident of West Wyalong , the first to have it was Gary Prince and the second FUNNEL crans and engineering...BOP BOP

mate, i wouldn' know one person that could a job like that now, last bloke i knew was an alco and the local undertaker, a real character, did a top on our c 1600 but that was a couple a days ago. jk

knighty... that old cruiseliner is the work of old school melbourne sign writer- stewy warren...his scrollwork is a dead giveaway...never mind the heaps of bulldogs he pictured for mack trucks on all kinds of mack jiggers!

Pretty sure this is the old girl in her first life..
Apologies for the Quality, came out of book I've got on the 75th anniversery of mack in Australia..
Had a bit of trouble gettin the Scanner lid to shut properly....
