What's the scene in Sydney

We've had enough of the pollies in Canberra and are packing up to move to the big smoke. Mrs Scout has got a 3 year posting to Sydney and my boss loves me enough to let me work anywhere I want, so we are off. The missus' new job comes with 5 star rental accommodation in the SE suburbs and more money for buying old trucks. The bad news is there is no where in the flash new digs to park them also my shed full of toys are staying here in Queanbeyan

So I'm looking for some way of get my old truck fix without the 5 hour round trip back here. i've already got the Penrith truck show marked in my calendar, what else goes on in Sydney that I should know about?

Campbelltown Steam mob is on the edge of town? I don't know Sydney at all, Dennis, so apologies if this is hard to get to. Rod Lovell (heycharger) knows it well.

Oh , ya got uncle leos at the cross roads , good for takin photo's in the afternoon about 3-5pm .
The steam thing here at cambelltown is open one weekend a month but cant remember when that is .
