The red and white one in your second photo is a bit of an odd one with a set back front axle, Swishy, I've seen ones like that in a KW brochure-I think they were K100C series Transorient models from memory. I think they were built like that for the European market, Mack had set back axle F/FR models too-FM series.

My mate has a 1981 Aerodyne, he has owned it for at least 25 years, he used to run Melb-Syd in it for Cubico.............it now does local for Linfox and a few other mobs.

Would that be Captain Col Norman by chance?????

I see this one at KW Adelaide quite a bit.
Finally decided to take some photos..
No idea who owns it now or originally but I know it's got a 400 Cummins and that straightaway makes it a winner in my books..That'll stir up the GM boys... ;D

Here's a photo I took at the Winton roadhouse on the old Hume, not sure of the year maybe 79 or 80

I was only a kid back then and used to skip school to go truckin with a mate who drove Hume regularly.
