Info on my S2

Just looking for some background on my s2. Chasis no 400788. W.H.TOMS was the first owner. Delivered 12/10/73 from K.T.S NSW. We bought it in Rockhampton. It was white and red. It was owned by a bloke in townsville. Was brought home and stripped down. Painted and engine rebuild. (jakes were removed then. told to hard on camsharft.) Truck was then used in our work as semi tipper and float work. Couple years ago put twin air cleaners on then twin stacks and also stainless grill. When we got it the cab and bunk had been railed and air bagged. Single stack at rear of bunk. Ryco suspension had replaced torsion bar. Did a load of scrap to brissy bout 3 week ago and bloke down there recognised truck. Told me he thought bloke in biloela did modification. Plate on firewall says it was built in 3/73 and serial number different to chasis no. Speedo is in m.p.h. Cab interior is burgundy/red and bunk is brown trim. Bunk has words paccar mould into top corner. Any info on this truck would be appreciated. Thanks KWS20

almost looks like the 1973 ford calypso green ..a lot of fairmonts and fairlanes had that beautiful lucid colour..

Once you've got the pictures on Photobucket, put the arrow over the picture, a drop down menu will appear, put the arrow over the last one, the IMG code. Left click on the one, copied will come up, then go back to your post on the forum, right click and select "paste" this will paste the IMG code onto your post, so even though you see a internet address, when you post the post, the picture will come up.
