Jeffo, the pics at the beginning of this post, was the Ergo Leyland based in Childers, Queensland, it looks familiar.

Don't know who bought it, Dad sold sometime in 74 and it stayed on the sugar as far as I know.
I heard it was getting troublesome, can't think of anyone else who would have bought Ergo Leylands, they weren't as reliable a truck as the LAD's.
A bloke, Ray Duffy?? had an AEC Monarch on the sugar, thought it was red though.

John Duffy ran a blue AEC Monarch with a red chassis out of Isis Mill, did couple of trips in it. His brother Paul ran a green Leyland. There was a white one with a red band around the cab for a while, don't know how long it lasted though.

The white/red would have been the AEC Monarch.
It must have been way underpowered pulling from Isis, I had the identical truck and it wouldn't pull the skin off a custard.
He started off as an emergency fill-in with the Monarch when Tom Pashley went bush coming back from Bingera.
Tom's trailer was perfect but his Commer was a write off so Tom and Paul? worked out a deal and Paul finished off that season using Tom's trailer.
Think Tom bought a V8 Cummins ACCO.
That was my last year so I've no idea what happened in the following season.
We're talking 41 years ago, hey.
This was Tom's truck out in the trees.

I wonder what happens if you drive out of a steep drive it would take much to get the drive wheels off the ground by the looks of it ???? but maybe there is something there that we cant see
