Hey Swishman, In the just trucks mag there has been a fella trying to sell a swan neck float for ages. Real odd looking thing.
Whats the idea behind such a high goose neck / swan neck thingo ?

Years ago twaz easy to buy an ol float n cut the neck off n convert to swan neck
Why ? I hear U ask
cos to save running n owning 2 trucks to get er dun
the swan neck was the ants pants to B able to fit into an xisting tipper body
th@ way the joker could cart his own machine to a new site
unload, remove swan neck n 5th wheel subframe
n get on with moving dirt with the tipper
n end of day cart the beast away again
the industry drifted away from this style of trailer
when they used tag trailers
but I do C Lusty has them as an option

Might be a bit more top heavy than your regular float, I know of a fella who upended his excavator on the highway using one of these.
