...the irony of the heading for this topic is the fact that trucking business's are closing all the time and literally the ''yesterday'' bit has a lot of relevance :'( :'(

...here's a couple ..Jetaway, Mcphee's, Riteway,...

Layton's x2 - Layton Express, and then later Layton Freight Services (or was it Layton Transport Services?) Both sold as profitable businesses but later demised.

Marrs as in " the men from Marrs"...
Chocs Stan Miller was from Nagambie and John Burns from Avenel.
Together they ran that Transtar as a partnership.
Martin " Sonny " Hall from Seymour - little grey dodge papertrucks-heaps of em..
Gerald Hall -Seymour-general freight.
Johhny Hall-Seymour-fuel-Caltex.
Laurie Lewis Seymour-fuel and general-Caltex then later Shell.
Puckapunyal Transport.
Billy Ferguson Avenel-stock,fuel and general...Could still be in business I think...
Harry Hinton Seymour had a heap of trucks on general but was gone by the early 70s...Long time McFies subby.
Still thinkin while I have a Saturday night refreshment-from my OWN fridge... ;D
