Well that's a pretty sad state of affairs
Only saw one person try to help apart from the fire crew

And speaking of the fire crew and the rest of the clowns involved , it appears no one carries a chain to pull old mate out from under the bridge

I shake my head at these videos as it shows how sad society is in some parts of the world

Sorry rant over

Melbourne's most battered overpass has claimed another scalp - a white truck that appears to belong to a rental company has become Montague Street Bridge's first 2018 victim.
In what could possibly be a win for 'team truck' in the ongoing 'bridge v truck' feud, Monday's driver may be the first to be collected by the bridge and still make it through to the other side.
Photographer Andrew Griffiths witnessed the event and said the truck appeared to approach the bridge at full speed.
"The roof was ripped off and fell onto the roadway while the truck somehow made it through to the other side," he said.
"Passersby were grabbing the shredded metal parts and dragging them off the roadway as I was driving under the bridge."
He said the driver "sheepishly" parked the truck 80 metres down the road past the bridge.
The bridge has risen in notoriety each time a driver miscalculated and attempted to sail past the edifice. Despite the installation of large gantries with hanging rubber paddles back in 2016, the bridge still claims new victims.
The bridge has inspired its own Twitter and Facebook accounts and even has a website keeping tally on exactly how many days it has been since the Montague Street bridge has been hit.
The bridge last had a bout with an Atlas truck on June 2nd, 2017.
In 2017, the bridge was hit a total of six times.
A year earlier, a dozen people were injured when a Gold Bus operated by Bacchus Marsh Coaches hit the three-metre-high South Melbourne bridge.
In most cases vehicles become completely wedged and stuck underneath the low overpass.
