Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie here and came across the site while researching trucks.

I'm pretty green when it comes to both trucks and restoration so I hope you don't mind some cluelessness. But I'm keen to learn.

We've got an old Inter AB-110 out on a property in QLD.

We were just gonna do the bare min on it to use as a farm truck to carry a load and there was even suggestion to cut the back off for a trailer but I couldn't bare to see it chopped.

I've now found a new interest in trucks that I never had. Especially the the older ones.

So I wanna restore it properly.

So if anyone has any wisdoms and warnings etc about my project, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks

The AB is a good Aussie truck, simple and fairly easy to get parts for but cab rust can be a real problem .

A good start as many parts from Inters & Dodges will fit from about 1960 up to late '70's, Lots of engine/trans choices also.

Cool thanks.

Yeah, I have already noticed some rust in the cab that will definately need some attention.

However, there's barely a ding in the styleside tray, so that's a bonus.

I can post a pic if anyone's interested.
