Hello All,
Finally got around to joining the forum. Have met some of you at the last Sandown show and look foward to seeing you again this year. I collect all things GM diesel, engines and literature etc. Was hoping to have my GM powered R190 inter ready to drive over to Sandown this year but im not going to be finished in time so it looks like it will be next year. I have some R190 bits for sale so I will post in the for sale section.
I look foward to gaining and sharing some wisdom with our possesive hobby in the forum.
Barry

Welcome,
Are you coming back for seconds this year?
We have more raffles to win (including an $800 toolbox - that should be some excess baggage!)

;DHi Barry at least you have the right brand truck. The old R 190 with a screaming jimmy. We are just finishing off a 630 Diamond with a 653 Screamer in it. The R- 200 will hopefully get the RD-450 back in before sandown. No matter how many raffles you win you are always welcome over. If you are coming for the Saturday night Dinner you will have to book for the meal. Thanks for joining the forum from Stephen HCVC Treasurer.

Thankyou for the welcome.
Im looking foward to the Sandown weekend. Foggy has let me know whats the go with the sat night so im sorted there.
When Andy and I came over last year we were both a little overwhelmed with the hospitality shown by you guys over there. It was also pleasing to find we are not the only truck nuts in this country. If ever you need help with the 653 give me a yell. Got a fair few 53 parts, manuals and contacts.
See you next month.

Stephen,
I have a few of the flat top detroit diesel covers. No GM covers .I have one detroit cover with the oil filler which is the one I think you need. Where is your crankcase breather ? The cover with the oil filler has a 1" breather hose connection on it also. If this is what you are after I bring it with me in Nov if you can wait that long.
