Hi Oldfulla.... It would be in the 1967-71 range and also would be a K123 or K125 depending on the rears.Could also possibly be a K122 but unlikely.
Is there any story to go with the photo??? Cheers James.
ps. Do I see a 5" exhaust??? Cummins powered...

Thanks Jimmy
You mention that 'the rears' make a difference. Are we talking diffs and or suspension?
The age range you provided fits the big picture.
The Story? I'm just trying to place it in a fleet - as in what came before what. The other trucks involved I can date well enough for the purpose - but I have never been up with the KW models.
I suspect it was Cummins powered - probably a 335 I'm guessing now I know the age.
Additionally - I wanted to be bettter informed for a meeting next week where I hope to get the 'fleet' order confirmed. But experience warns me that if you dont have the basic info its hard to argue/question (if required) to be convinced. As I'm sure we all know - that when playing with memories from 30/40/50 plus years past - stories have to be coroberated to have any chance of it being accurate.
I hope this meeting next week will shed some light on drive line specs as well. This truck carried the 'name' Mister Inbetween. Supposedly because it was too heavy for light work and to light for heavy work.
So thoee back end specs might be important.
Thanks again
Oldfulla

The pic is OK at my end Clarkie...
That pic may not be in its original life so it could have been taken during the 70's.It would be the last half of the imported Seattle KWs and has a 76" cab with the black "kenworth" name plate under the door.Is that a Cummins cross in front of it??? I guess there is a chance it could be a K124 as well...
K121- single drive
K122- tandem single drive with a dead axle
K123-bogie drive with light diffs on spring or air suspension.
K124-bogie drive with heavy diffs and suspension.
K125-bogie drive on torsion bars.
All above are single steer.
K14?-twin steer. Cheers James.
