Ending of an era was created by wouldyou
Been sheep on this farm since 1932, the last of the ewes leaving on their way to Nhill, a 3000 k journey, transferring to another truck at the WA-SA border.

We'll see Geoff,
The dry years have led to less pasture feed, chemicals give cleaner crops so not a lot of good in the stubble. Have been feeding hay and grain most of this year. Will not get to driving the old car so much, did over 1000 miles the last two summers checking water troughs. Cheers, David.

David, I was thinking it maybe out with the old and in with the new, and the young don't like sheep much, rather sit on tractor ;) ;)

A bit of that Colin, Getting shearers is a problem also, got a bit spoilt for over twenty years had the same crew, the shearer contractor was my age, 82 so that ended a while ago. All eggs are in the one basket now.
Cheers, David.

Hi David, enjoy your life changes & look forward to what's ahead. Just a question, why are the sheep being transshipped between trucks at the border, health regs or what? cheers Tim.

Hi David you say the sheep are going to Nhill for slaughter or to another property. Dave
