The Historic Commercial Vehicles Club of Australia aims to promote the preservation, restoration and use of all types of historic commercial vehicles and fire fighting appliances and associated equipment including the literature and related items to further the knowledge and understanding of matters relating to historic commercial road transport.
As a club we engage in activities such as vehicle events, charity functions, displays, parades and other activities as deemed suitable for the experience and social benefit of the HCVCA members.

The HCVCA maintains a library of information including workshop manuals, history books and industry magazines relevant to commercial vehicles and fire fighting appliances and make that resource available to members and to communicate and exchange information with persons and organisations with similar aims and interests.

The HCVCA has its own club rooms in the Melbourne suburb of Boronia and sub branches for members in South Australia, Ballarat and Northern Victoria at Wangaratta that provide local runs, vehicles displays and meetings.
