C1800 Butterbox Resto

I'm reestoring this old acco. Keen to bring it to some meets one day if she's not working. My Dad has a couple of tractors he needs to cart around and i have lots of jobs for her on the farm. So we're pulling her out of retirement so to speak. Some pictures for ya.

no wonder we grow up liking trucks when you start at a young age...

Maybe an ex fuel tanker, they used to have the muffler across the front.

Yours already looks flasher than mine... mine is still working, been holding my daughters garage and garden furniture off the ground for a few months now... ever since we loaded up and brought it back.. :'(

Tell me more.... I hope to have this up and running by August this year. I have to move a handfull of heifers from one farm to another. Having never restored anything before i suspect the finishing touches can take longer than anticipated. We'll see how we go.

It has a Perkins 6.354 engine, a T34 5 speed and an eaton 2 speed axle. Looks like it may have had some sort of power steering now removed.
The front pumper, grill and radiator are a sad story. It has been a fuel truck and the pump has been mounted to the front bumper. A huge hole cut through the radiator and the grill slats cut out. I haven't sorted this out yet. Depending on price i would like another grill and rad. See how we go.
