DAZZA has nailed it ...... standing on Rochester Street, Leonora, facing west and looking over the Goldfields Highway, also known as Tower Street.
If Swishy don't give you a beer for that Dazza, I will give you a can of non-alcohol Budweiser Lite from my private stock here.

I had gone for the pole being a Stobie, and the hotel being limestone. I would never have got Leonora, but did check Eyre Peninsula pubs after the first clue (with no match). I photographed State Hotel (Gwalia, forever in calendars and coffee-table books), and White House Hotel. I don't know if the name came later in life. Future USA President Hoover spent time at Leonora as a young mining engineer.
