Hi there, wondering if anyone can help me identify what this is. From the research I have done online, I think it might be an unused (yet) LAD cab. What do you think?

Cab for a late 70s Scammell/Leyland Contractor ;)

many moons ago the army had an auction and there were a few Scammels az new in boxes th@ had not been assembled

Nicky, you have a good eye, as while it is indeed a Scammel Contractor cab they used an LAD cab as the starting point and doctored the front to take a bonnet.
