...also in the pic Timo provided, the sleeper addition is not the same as the the ones in the pics Mrsmackpaul posted.....
....late edit .. "Leyland Australia" is on the serial plate, so must've been a normal import I'd say.

yeah I think you are getting closer to it now no doubt trimmed for more air flow or something before delivery

I believe that the sleeper was custom made.( i could be wrong) but crusaders genually didnt have sleepers.

...I'm more inclined than ever to think that there may've been an "Antipodean" Crusader that had a bunk especially built for Australia.... possibly modified with less glass and a more open back of cab for heat egress ???
